Legacy Files

The ‘Legacy Saves’ option on the Triptico website.

If you have used older versions of Triptico then you may have created and saved files which are stored on an older version of the database.

You can access these by changing the file filter to: Your Legacy Files.

You can open these legacy files directly from the old database with lots of different resources. So far, so good!

However, as these files are stored on an old database they do not have codes for simple sharing.

Also, legacy files cannot be made public or marked as favourites.

The good news? There is a very simple solution to all of this!

Click the ‘Edit’ button to edit a legacy file.

Select a legacy file and click to edit it.

You will see the content of the saved file. (Note: If you created the file with a very old version of Triptico, it may be worth checking that all of the content is accurate. Make any changes that are required.)

When you are ready, click the ‘Save’ button to save the file.

** A new version of the file will be added to the new database. **

You no longer need to access the file via the ‘Legacy’ filter — it will be displayed in your saved files — and you can share it, mark it as public and set it as a favourite!

As ever, if you have any questions about any of this then please contact me.
