Triptico Activities

Triptico activities are extremely versatile — think of creating a new activity as like creating a pack of cards.

Cards can have content on one side only or on both sides.

Cards can contain text, images or a combination of the two.

Let’s look at a very simple set of cards — in this example, the months of the year in French and English:

As you can see, these cards have two sides— the months of the year in French on the front and the months in English on the back.

As there are twelve months, there are 12 cards in this activity— but there is no limit to the number of cards that you can add.

The good thing about the new version of Triptico is that these cards — which took about a minute to create — can be used with lots of different resources.

Here is the activity opened with the Order Sorter resource. Drag the handles to put the months into the correct order.

Here it is opened with Bingo. (Hopefully you can also see how easy it is to share Triptico activities!)

Something else — you can switch the sides of your cards. Here is the same activity opened with Bingo again, but with the sides switched.

The exact same activity, this time opened with the Listen resource — select Thomas from the list of voices when the resource opens!

Another good thing about Triptico activities is that they will immediately work with any resources that I create in the future.

For example, I have been working on a simple quiz resource this week — even though it is not yet added to the website (edit: it is now!), it will work with our list. Give it a try by clicking here!

A new idea for a resource!

So — one simple activity, lots of possibilities — and it only took a minute to create!

You can even embed activities that you create in lessons and presentations — which can be used in the classroom or shared for home learning.

Here is an example of a lesson which includes our months of the year activity.

I hope that this is a helpful introduction to Triptico activities!

There is a contact form on the Triptico website if you have any further questions.
